LNJ Photography: THREE is a BIG Number!

Brice's 3rd Birthday-Houston Zoo

Phew! It's been some time since I posted. Seems becoming a mommy took over my time more than I bargained for! I've still kept busy with lots of photo shoots but sadly my blog has suffered some neglect. So I thought, why not start today with updating?

Over Christmas I had the pleasure of working with an old co-worker and her family. She has two uber adorable sons with tons of personality. After our Christmas session she asked me if I would be interested in covering her younger sons third birthday. Of course! The best part is that the session was going to take place at the Houston Zoo. I LOVE animals and LOVE the zoo so I was super excited for this session. The weather was absolutely perfect. My session started around 9:30 which was awesome because when I arrived to the zoo was just waking up. So amazing to see all of God's beautiful creatures. Seeing the smiles on all the kiddos faces was priceless. There were lots of giggles, shrieks, smiles, scared faces, shy faces and more. It was so fun to capture all of these moments for Brice's third birthday. Oh and how about that hair?! I am LOVING it! Here are a few photos from our session. Enjoy!

I am a sucker for BW photos, I have to watch myself when editing not to convert all my photos to BW. I just love the simplicity of BW. This is one of my favorites, sweet moment with Brice and mommy as they watched the animals.
